OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of OnePlus 7 series smartphones. All the hype created by the company makes us believe that the device is going to be much more premium this time. But with more premium features we expect a higher price tag. Interestingly, Ishan Agarwal, a famous tipster has revealed the prices of OnePlus 7 Pro for the Indian market.

According to the leak, OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in 3 storage variants, 6+128 GB, 8+256 GB and 12+256 GB. The cheapest 6+128 GB variant will be priced at Rs. 49,999, the 8+128 GB variant will be priced at Rs. 52,999, whereas the 12+256 GB variant will most expensive, priced at Rs. 57,999. This means that the phone will compete against the Samsung Galaxy S10e in India. It is interesting that OnePlus came as a company to offer great specs without putting much pressure on your pockets, but the price increase in their phones every year has led them to price their phones much expensive this time. The non-pro version might be priced a little cheaper, so you shouldn’t be much disappointed.

Well, OnePlus really need to make their cameras better this time as they have failed to make flagship quality cameras in past. No doubt the cameras are good enough but fail to compete with other flagships from Samsung, Xiaomi, etc. Also according to a teaser posted by OnePlus, the phone is not IP certified waterproof as it costs money, but will offer good protection against underwater damaged. But the pop-up selfie camera does raise some questions.

Other than that, the phone offers some great specifications. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.0 internal storage. It will have 3 rear cameras including the 48MP flagship Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.6 aperture and OIS. The second one is a telephoto lens of 8 MP with f/2.2 aperture and OIS, and the third lens is of 16 MP with Phase Detection Auto Focus for capturing wide-angle shots. The selfie camera will be of 16 MP that will pop up from the top.

At the front, the phone will have a big 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and DC dimming. A 4,000 mAh battery will give the phone long standby hours without charging it often. Charging should also not be a headache as it will offer 30W Warp Charge fast charging. Other specifications include dual stereo speaks, an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.0, etc.

The phone will be officially launching on May 14, in Bangalore in India. Also, take the news with a pinch of salt as the pricing may change until then. Stay tuned with us for any further updates.
