In today’s world, everyone wants to use a highly efficient Android smartphone. Now, given all the modern features a latest phone brings, its cost also increases accordingly. It is not really everyone’s cup of tea to buy a high-end smartphone which hits the pocket heavily. This is the moment where Android Go enters the scene. Android Go brings all the amazing Google Apps in a lightweight avatar to work seamlessly on the phones with low res hardware(devices with 1 GB RAM) configuration. Now Android Go is all set to power up the popular Chinese OEM Meizu. In more simple words, Google and Meizu will be teaming up to bring up the very first Meizu Android Go Smartphone. Exciting it sounds.!! Isn’t it..?!

Meizu is super popular in the Asian market but has no presence in the US and Europe. The first word about the Meizu Android Go Smartphone is now public by the Chinese OEM’s Global Marketing Head, Mr. Ard Boudeling.

Earlier at the Mobile World Congress OEMs such as Nokia, ZTE etc revealed about respective android Go devices. Nokia already has its Nokia 1 and ZTE has ZTE Tempo Go which is powered by Android Go. Now Meizu joins the Android Go bandwagon with this announcement from its official source.

This Meizu Android Go smartphone is more likely to target emerging markets or at least mark the presence of Meizu where it has not stepped into yet. Now there is no dates or any hint for the said Android Go device’s specifications as of now. Usually, an Android Go smartphone sports low-end hardware which gives an optimum performance. The specifications of the upcoming Meizu Android Go smartphone will definitely be revolving around this fact. Again, these devices are quite affordable on the user’s pocket given their lesser hardware presence yet they work efficiently with Android Go.

Since the first word about the Go powered smartphone is out, let’s wait for other exciting reveals about the Meizu Android go smartphone in the coming days.
