A Chinese smartphone company, HMD Global launched the Nokia X6 smartphone in its home market earlier this year. The phone is also known as the Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone globally. Recently, the company launched the Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone in Hong Kong now the phone on its way to arrive in the Indian market.
HMD Global owned Nokia teased a launch event in India on Twitter. The company also offers its fans to get a chance to attend the launch event by just participants in the contest to get a chance. However, there is no specific Nokia smartphone mentioned to launch in the teaser. But we expected that the company will launch the Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone at the upcoming event.

Recently, the Noia 6.1 Plus support page went online in India. Which means there is a high possibility that the company planning to launch the Nokia X6 global model in India. Apart from this, the HMD Global may also launch the Nokia 5.1 or Nokia 2.1 smartphones. There is also a possibility that the company may launch the entire trio in the Indian market at the same launch event. Unfortunately, there is no launch event date revealed in the teaser. The released teaser only suggest that the company holding on the launch event in India.
In terms of specifications, The Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with 5.8-inch display with 1080 x 2280 pixels of resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. On the screen, there is 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which protects it from accidental scratches. The phone powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor under the hood. It has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The 6.1 Plus also comes with micro SD card slot on board that supports external storage up to 400 GB.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone featured with dual camera sensors on the back side along with LED flash. There is a 16-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 aperture and 5-megapixel secondary camera with a f/2.4 aperture. On the front side, there is a 16-megapixel camera with a f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies and video calling. The phone comes under the Android One program which means it runs on pure Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box.
The phone is packed with Non-removable Li-Ion 3060 mAh battery inside the body and also comes with Fast battery charging (Quick Charge 3.0) feature. In the Indian market, the phone will be available in two color option, Blue and White.
