A few weeks ago, a Chinese smartphone company HMD launched the Nokia X5 smartphone in its home market. Now the company is planning to launch the phone globally as a Nokia 5.1 Plus. Unfortunately, there is a confirm date announced by the company when it will unveil the phone globally. Now the phone appeared on Bluetooth certification which means, the company may unveil the Nokia 5.1 Plus globally soon.

According to the Nokia Power User (NPU) website, five models of the Nokia 5.1 Plus appeared on Bluetooth certification for different markets. The model numbers of the Nokia 5.1 Plus are TA-1108, TA-1120, TA-1112, TA-1102, and TA-1105. Recently, the TA-1105 model number variant of the phone certified by Malaysia.

There is a possibility that the company may unveil the Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone along with Nokia 6.1 Plus at the same launching event. Recently on Twitter, the HMD Global company teased a launch event in India.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus will feature a 5.8-inch display with 1520 x 720 pixels of resolution. The phone will come with Helio P60 processor under the hood along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It will have dual camera sensors on the back side along with LED flash, 13-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel secondary camera. The 5.1 Plus will have an 8-megapixel camera on the front side for selfies. There will be a fingerprint scanner on the back side of the phone.

The phone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. It’s a part of the Android One program, which means users will get pure and stock Android Oreo experience. It will be packed with 3060 mAh capacity battery inside the body.
