New updates added on July 15, 2020: Yesterday, a new Android 10 build went live for the users of Nokia 2.2. It was tagged with version number v2.370 and brings improved system stability, user interface enhancements, and June 2020 security patch for the phone.
New updates added on March 17, 2020: The wait is finally over, as the Android 10 update is now rolling out for the users of the Nokia 2.2. This was announced officially via Twitter by Juho Sarvikas who is the Chief Product Officer of Nokia. Check out his tweet below:

Keep in mind that the update will be pushed via OTA in batches so, those who have not received the update notification might have to wait a bit more to get the update. However, this was confirmed by one of the users as he also shared the screenshot of the Android 10 update received on the Nokia 2.2. It arrives with the version number V2.300 and brings in February 2020 security patchset as well.
Nokia is a brand that is pretty good at pushing security or firmware updates for its devices. A lot of devices from Nokia have been ticked off for receiving the Android 10 update. However, there are still some of the phones in the pipeline that is awaiting Android 10 updates. And since Google has already made the Android 11 Developer Preview available, chances are that the Android 10 update delivery might be a bit speedier for the devices.
However, if we go by the recent development, Nokia has made the Android 10 update available for the Nokia 2.2. phone. This is not our call, but it has been reported by one of the publications that go by the name Digital Life. What’s more interesting is that it says according to HMD Global, Nokia 2.2 runs on the Android 1o operating system. But, there are no proofs of such claims which makes it kinda weird. To recall, the Nokia 2.2 phone was launched back in June 2019 and packs in some decent specs like MT6761 Helio A22 chipset paired with 2/3 GB of RAM, a 3000 mAh battery and a 5.71-inch screen. In the camera department, you get a single 13 MP rear shooter while the front has a 5MP selfie camera.
In fact, there are no user reports that give us any proof of the Android 10 update for the device. On the other hand, the official Twitter handle of Nokia Mobile India, has stated the Nokia 2.2. will indeed get the Android 10 update pretty soon. So, nothing can be ruled out of the scene as of now, but, we advise that you take this piece of info with a pinch of salt.
Whatever might be the case, the Nokia 2.2 is certain to get updated to Android 10 in the near future. We will keep our eyes out for any developments in this regard.
